Sony Group X Imageworks X Sony Pictures

Over two years, I wrote feature editorials for Sony Group, producing content that spanned the full breadth of the company — from blockbuster entertainment to frontier research.

On the entertainment side, I interviewed the creative team behind KPop Demon Hunters at Sony Pictures Imageworks and Sony Pictures, developing both a written feature and a series of video interviews that took readers inside the film's making. The assignment meant translating highly technical animation and production craft into stories that landed with a broad audience.

I also profiled the people driving Sony's innovation. I interviewed a Sony Distinguished Engineer for an in-depth feature, coordinating an accompanying photo shoot to bring the story to life, and sat down with the recipient of Sony's Women in Technology Award to spotlight her career and contributions.

Across every assignment, the challenge was the same: honor the depth and rigor of Sony's work while making it genuinely compelling to read. The result was a body of content that moved fluidly between pop culture and peer-reviewed research, always grounded in strong reporting, careful interviewing, and clear storytelling.

For video production, we partnered with 5 North Studios.

Sony technology group

On the research side, I covered several of the field's most prestigious technology conferences, where Sony presented original work in AI and beyond. This included technical deep-dive blogs that unpacked the research shared at NeurIPS and ICCV — distilling complex, cutting-edge science into clear, engaging narratives for readers across every level of expertise.

I lead content and social media strategy for Sony AI, translating world-class research into stories that reach both technical and general audiences. Since taking over the program, I've grown the site from a few thousand monthly visitors to well over 100,000 views in a single quarter — momentum earned through consistent publishing and moments that broke through.

The centerpiece was the launch of Project Ace, Sony AI's autonomous table tennis robot, published on the cover of Nature in 2026. I owned content and social strategy end to end: multi-platform launch copy, a PR and social recap deck, tracked-changes blog editing, a dedicated YouTube channel rollout, and a short-film social asset. Ace went on to beat seven ranked professionals, and the launch drove the highest-traffic month in the program's history.

Beyond launches, I manage a recurring editorial cadence: monthly analytics reports as branded decks, a "Month in Review" blog and social series, and evergreen social trackers spotlighting Sony AI research from the field's top conferences — NeurIPS, CVPR, ICASSP, ICLR, and FAccT among them. I also write and edit technical deep-dive blogs that unpack peer-reviewed research into clear, engaging narratives, working directly with researchers to keep every claim accurate and defensible.

My work spans the full content system: editorial in a disciplined house style, platform-specific social copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, and X, branded asset production within Sony AI's visual identity, and brand strategy counsel to leadership. The throughline is the same across all of it — protect the rigor of the science while making it genuinely worth reading.

I provide end-to-end content, web, and editorial strategy for Owlchemy Labs, translating the studio's playful, accessibility-first approach to VR into polished, publication-ready work.

Web & content strategy. I help shape the studio's web presence, from information architecture and page strategy to headline and body copy. This included leading a full blog migration to Squarespace — mapping every post across five years of content, planning URL structure and redirects, and cleaning up metadata and assets so nothing broke in the move.

SEO & site health. I build content with search in mind: clean URL conventions, redirect strategy to preserve link equity, structured metadata, and consistent, discoverable naming across pages and assets.

Case studies & white papers. I take stories from the raw material — interviews, internal briefs, and source research — all the way to a designed, branded PDF. My accessibility case study on Dimensional Double Shift pulled from primary source material and the team's own voices to document how Owlchemy builds "VR for Everyone," delivered as a fully sourced, print-ready document.

Brand-consistent production. Every deliverable is built to the studio's visual identity — its typography, color system, and tone — whether that's a case study, a resource page, an FAQ, or a set of team assets.

The common thread: rigorous, well-sourced content that looks and sounds like Owlchemy, ready to publish.
